📢 REVISION OF INDUSTRIAL DEARNESS ALLOWANCE (IDA) RATES – 01.10.2026 📢

Dear BSNL Colleagues,

The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, has issued an Office Memorandum dated 27th October 2026 regarding the revision of Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) rates for executives and non-unionized supervisors of CPSEs.

The revised IDA rates are applicable with effect from 01.10.2026 to executives holding Board-level and below Board-level posts and Non-Unionized Supervisors following the 1997, 2007 and 2017 pay scales.

As per the order, the revised rates of IDA/DA are: 489.5% for the 1997 pay scale, 249.2% for the 2007 pay scale, and 59.1% for the 2017 pay scale.

The Office Memorandum has been issued with the approval of the Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, and has been circulated to the concerned Administrative Ministries/Departments for necessary action.

🌹 The revised IDA rates will provide the applicable enhanced Dearness Allowance benefit to eligible CPSE executives and non-unionized supervisors with effect from 01.10.2026.

📢 BSNL CAO PROMOTION ORDER – 26.10.2026 📢

Dear BSNL Colleagues,

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has issued an important order dated 26.10.2026 regarding the promotion of eligible executives to the post of Chief Accounts Officer (CAO)/Assistant General Manager (AGM), Telecom Finance Stream, on provisional/temporary basis.

The order contains the details of the promoted executives along with their present and posted Circles. The posting details are provided in the annexure of the order and cover executives promoted under the applicable BSNL MSRR provisions.

All concerned executives are requested to carefully go through the promotion order, posting details and the terms & conditions mentioned therein, including the requirement to join at the allotted place of posting within the prescribed period.

Rajender Singh Tushir to spread awareness among BSNL employees about the positive steps being taken by Government of India for improving the Telecom Infrastructure of India and inculcation of BSNL in this process to realize the dream of national inclusion of all the citizens of India in every corner of India via telecom services.
